Transactions mainly depend on two types of actions deposit and withdrawal. Each and every transaction you perform through your bank account will be recorded and you can also track your current balance. A person mainly visits to a bank to make any transaction. Either he would deposit money in his/others account, or he withdraws money from the account. You can follow the below mentioned steps to add a transaction in Quick Cheque.

Premium Edition
Steps to be followed to add a Transaction
- Login to Quick Cheque with the user having privileges to add transactions.
- Navigate to Transactions menu and click the Transaction button. A list of existing Transactions will open up.
- You can click Add button to create a new transaction or double click any of the listed templates so as to Edit them. In either case, a pop up window opens asking for the inputs for adding the transaction in Quick Cheque. Kindly note that the mandatory fields are having a Yellow Background and must be entered in order to save the Transactions.
- Party Name ► Select the party name for whom the transaction is to be done. The cheque will be issued to the party you select. Kindly view the related post “How To Add A Party In Quick Cheque” at the bottom of this page for more information on creating Party in Quick Cheque.
- Account # ► Select the Account # from dropdown menu. By selecting the Account #, Bank name gets filled up automatically.
- Reference # ► Enter a reference # in order to keep a track for the transactions you make. This field is not mandatory but still you can add it if you wish to, so that it provides extra information on the transaction you make.
- Amount and Date ► Enter the Amount and Date for the transaction you make. Kindly enter the Amount with extra care.
- Transaction Type ► Select the type of transaction you want to do for this party. It can be as cash, other cheque, DD, wire transfer and others.
- Print Voucher ► This checkbox lets you to create payment/receipt voucher for the bank transactions.
- Remarks ►You can capture any other key information that has been missed and you would want to record, mention it in the Remarks field.
- Once all the entries are made, click Save button to save the Transaction.
Using the grid
A Grid is something which you will see on almost all screens of Quick Cheque. This primarily provides a listing of all data or records existing in Quick Cheque corresponding to a screen. You can edit the transaction by using edit button on the grid or by double clicking on a particular row you want to edit. But Cheque Transactions cannot be edited as well as deleted.
Enterprise Edition
- Follow the same steps as for the Premium Edition.
